Marsala: 2015 Color of the Year

In the beginning of Dec 2014, Pantone, the world-renowned color institute, announced that 2015 trending color is Marsala (Pantone color code: 18-1438). Named for the decadent wine, Marsala, is a naturally robust color that elicits a refined-yet-earthy mood.

Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal, while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness. This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors.

The color is gorgeous isn’t it? I don’t remember when I started to fall in love with this color. I am so happy that it finally became the color of the year. Marsala has been my favorite nail color for many years.  It improves your self-esteem and promotes your noble manner. A girl in marsala is like a glass of red wine; tasty and mysterious.
