The Women’s Gymnastic team is a powerhouse, but these two ladies are the Olympic All-Around contenders for the Gold and Silver. With such inspiring women we learn about their amazing journey to gold, I feel inspired to shop the beauty world for items that Aly Raisman and Simone Biles would wear. Feel free to comment below if you have any questions about the products or need a “how to” on wearing these picks.
Returning to get back the medal in the all-around that she missed because of a tie, this lady is the captain of the 2016 Olympic team. Aly has shown time and time again that practice, persistence and confidence gives consistent results. Some even say she is better this Olympics than 4 years back in London. Either way, we love Aly and her determination for gold. She is an inspiration to many ladies not just in the sport of gymnastics, but also, those who are working toward success in their own careers.
The products I chose for Aly is from this look. The eye starts with a Lancome eyeshadow in Pink Zinc then paired with the Nars Outer Limits shimmer in the inner corners of the eye. Aly has some awesome brows, using the Anastasia Brow gel in clear will help keep those brow strays at bay. Then adding Sephora Lashes in Quill, will really make her eyes pop. Finally, a touch of Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (Yes it smells like chocolate too! Bonus!!) or the Benefit Hula Bronzer on the outside areas of her face will give her that sun kissed glow.
Simone Biles is America's leading lady. In the last four years she has not lost a competition. She can potentially win 5 gold medals in this year's Olympics which will be the first time that it is ever done. Her carefree and free spirited personality, makes it sound like what she does is easy, but heck no it's not, quite the opposite. She is doing tricks that already have her name stamped on it for future gymnasts to attempt in years to come. Her energy and inner beauty is what makes this lady unstoppable.
For Simone's look I wanted to highlight the energy she has. Using Make Up For Ever's star powder in purple as an eye base, then Urban Decay's moondust eyeshadow in solstice amps up the intensity in her eyes. She finishes the look with a glitter gel by urban decay in the upper and lower corner of her eye and dramatizes those lashes with Buxom's Waterproof Mascara. Since the party is in her eyes, I went subtle on the lip choosing Stila's lip glaze in Berry. A touch of Nars blush in sin (berry with gold shimmer) on the cheeks gives her that inner glow. The Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish powder is lightly dusted all over to set everything in place.
